"Save Us Before It's Late" Labote residents cry to Ondo Govt

The inhabitants of Labote village in Irele Local Government area of Ondo State had cried to the state government for safety of their lives as the cases of recurrent attacks by unknown persons increase in the areas. 

The residents of these areas covering Labote, Aoke,  Lemue and other minor settlement in the village on Wednesday 26th February raised this alarm when two of the villagers refused to return from farms after 7:30pm. 

It was believed that they might have been kidnapped again by certain people who had been terrorising the vicinity in the last six weeks. 

Chief Adeolu Adeleye, the Baale of Labote has this to tell our correspondent, "we have suffered much loss of our beloves as a result of attacks, kidnap and harassment in the last six weeks and our cries for assistance from the security operatives fell into deaf ears. 

We are calling on the government and every well meaning individual and group  to save us before its too late".
