Poly students issue statement on FG directive measure of COVID- 1 9 Outbreak

MANAGEMENTS AND STUDENTS SHOULD ENSURE STRICT COMPLIANCE WITH THE FG CONTROL MEASURE OF COVID-19 OUTBREAK.
           SAFETY FIRST!

Following the directives of the FG on the closure of institutions as a control measure for the outbreak of covid-19 virus in the country, the leadership of NAPS advice all head of institutions and students to ensure strict compliance with the FG directives.

It is well understood that the closure of our institutions is reasonable and timely, the decision is taken in the best interest of Nigeria students in order for parents and guardians to monitor their wards closely and give adequate care.
Schools and institutions in Nigeria won't be able to control the outbreak of this dreaded virus should it attack any institution, in a situation where we have at least four occupants per room in our hostels, it's obvious that there would be a wider and fast spread of the virus.
Our school medical facilities can't contain, control nor guarantee effective measures to stop the spread on campus.

We hereby advice that all hand on deck for the space of one month starting from Monday 23/03/20, while we all give the FG maximum support in the fight against Covid-19 outbreak in our country.

Avoid crowded environment
Avoid hand shake
Use your nose mask regularly
Get your pocket size hand sanitizer
Wear your hand gloves when going out
Bath with soap regularly
Avoid overdose of Chloroquine and Alcohol consumption.........
