COVID-19 pandemic: A fulfilment of Biblical prophecy

What we see today is the manifestation of the prophecy long ago being predicted in the Holy Bible. 

The governments directing everyone to keep off work and stay at home only act to justify the biblical injunction. The anointed prophet Isaiah once proclaims in chapter 26 verse 20 about 'stay safe' method to avoid contracting Coronavirus pandemic when he says "Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut the doors about thee: Hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpass"

Our joy in this regard is that, the pandemic will soon be overpass. Further reading will open our spiritual eyes to the reason for the emergence of COVID-19 pandemic, yet the word of God says if my people who are called by my name should humble themselves and forsake their sins, then I will look down from heaven, forgive their sins and heal their land.

Therefore, as we take to necessary precautions, we must submit ourselves to God in confession of our sins, that HE may forgive us and heal our land. Remember, little obedience is not enough. Let all of us obey God's voice and take necessary precautions to ward off COVID-19 in our nation.

The Bible tells us that obedience is better than sacrifice and to hearken than the fat of rams, 1Sam 15:22. God bless you. Stay safe and take precautions. Jesus is Lord.
