Covid-19: Fedpoly Mgt Ceases Academic Activities On Campuses To Follow FG Directive

In an attempt to prevent the further spread of Corona Virus across the country, the Federal Government through the Federal Ministry of Education has given order to close all tertiary institutions and unity colleges across the country.

As a result of this, the Management of the Federal Polytechnic Offa led by Dr. Lateef Olatunji has issued a release to cease all academic activities on campuses from Monday 23rd of March, 2020.

The release signed by the Polytechnic Director of Information, Public Relations and Protocol, Mr. Olayinka Iroye on Friday, 20th of March 2020 reads further:

"consequent upon the directive of the Federal Government that all institutions in the country should close immidiately to curtail the spread of COVID-19.

The Rector on behalf of Management and Academic Board has directed that all academic activities should cease forthwith. Students are therefore not allowed into the two campuses until further notice."
