Coronavirus: 24 hours after Nigerian students bow out of IMT as First Suspected Patient Quarantined In Enugu

24 hours after the pre-convention of the National Association of Nigerian students held in IMT campus, Enugu state on Saturday morning.

A suspected case of COVID-19 infection has been isolated in the state.


According to report gathered in a tweet, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, stated:
       “The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control is aware of the patient in Enugu, suspected to have Coronavirus.


“This is one of several alerts received daily at the National COVID-19 Emergency Operations Centre.


Meanwhile the agency has released a statement in the conditions of the victims:
“The patient is in isolation, sample collected and results expected tomorrow.”
