Ex-Nigeria presidential candidate, Atiku, other call for reform of SARS

THE Former Nigeria Presidential candidate under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has called for the reform of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), days after a Remo Stars player identified as Kazeem Tiyamiyu (Kaka) was allegedly killed by some operatives of the security outfit deployed to Sagamu-Abeokuta road, VAM News reports.

Meanwhile, Voiceairmedia CEO, Comrade Tunde Olorungbotemi has advised FG to extremely reform the activities of SARS.

In his statement; 

    We can not be fighting Boko haram, Herdsmen, Terrorists etc.. and also facing the oppression and depression from the body that suppose to safe guild the citizens but rather killing us, the police was created to protect the life and property of Nigerians and not to put us into short life span.

The reform of the Nigeria Police, especially the SARS unit, is long overdue. The@PoliceNG is meant to protect the life and property of our citizens and not to put them into harm's way. -AA
