The Rate of unemployment and economic melt down in Nigeria which keeps rising on daily basis is really causing heavy effects on the citizens of the country as many people look for alternate ways to become fortune in life; Cyber crime, fraudsters, rituals etc.

Two weeks ago, news broke out about a 400 level student of the Lagos State University being used for rituals by her boyfriend. A self acclaimed pastor carry out the rituals by removing the head, breasts and heart of the innocent student to make concoction for the suspects mother so as to become rich.

In December 2019, irate youths in Akure set ablaze SOITITOBIRE church owned by prophet Alfa Babatunde, over a report of a missing baby buried under the church's alter. Lives and Properties were lost to the incident of the missing baby.

Many people run to miracle centres; churches, mosques, traditionalist for divine fortune but mostly these days the outcome of the miracle and healing centres is always double problem.

In September 2018, A Prophet of a church which name is withheld for security reasons at Abe koko in Ado Ekiti was caught bathing naked in a market square to attract more members to his church, he was beaten to pulp by mob. A lesson to be learnt from these scenarios is that; only God And ones faith can Deliver man from any challenges S/he is facing. Stop running for miracle centres seek for God intervention in your life.

The situation of the economy has affected many fresh graduates psychologically as most graduates believe education is no longer the key to success  so they opted in for cyber crimes to become rich quickly but unluckily most of these internet fraudsters are being trailed and tracked by security agencies and once they got arrested they blame their actions in crimes on the situation of the economy  and the rate of unemployment in the country, Nigeria.

Many youths are not ready to work, they want to have their dinner as lunch and this contribute to the sinking of the country.

Fraudsters had collected money from many innocent people under false pretence, VAM Correspondent on a visitation to Fayose market, Anti kankan, ijigbo in Ado Ekiti witnessed how fraudsters defraud innocent people under false pretence; I was walking along Fayose market to oja Oba when I met a young man in his early 30's asking me for directions to central mosque, I gave him the description to the mosque, still not satisfied he said he was going to ilawe Ekiti to sell a magic stick worth 300k, I knew he is a fraudster but I pretend to be naive, he told me that the stick is used at Yemkem to produce drugs which cures different kinds of diseases". When he noticed I showed no signs of interest he left.

"Another guy came to me asking what the first man told me, I explained everything to him, he said its true that the magic stick is rare and very costly, the guy then called the first man to meet us on the main road, the guy told me to follow them to where they will sell the stick.

They promise to give me N5,000 if I should follow them to the mosque where the stick will be sold. I laughed so hard at them and left there presence. This is how they collect money from innocent people under false pretence Due to  the situation of the country, the government are not helping, the rich Ones never wanted the poor to grow which make others to seek for alternative means to survive.

Arm robbery, kidnapping and insurgency are not left out, the mother of a popular super eagle star samson Siasia Was kidnapped last year and a huge amount of ransom was paid before her release, the wife of a monarch along side two children were kidnapped of recent in Ondo state, Fulani herdsmen are killing farmers, police which ought to be protecting the civilians are harassing them through extortion and brutalisation, the government keep blaming past leaders for their own flaws.

The masses are suffering, people die everyday, the state hospitals are not well equipped, minimum wage bills yet to be signed into law for over two years. Security and insurgency is a big challenge for Nigeria, the bandits and kidnappers  blamed Nigeria economy and Unemployment for their actions.

Robbery records increases daily; offa bank robbery, Ondo bank robbery, Ekiti bank robbery, Abuja bank robbery  causes loss of lives and properties of Many civilians. Some families are yet to recover from the loss of attacks.

If there should be jobs, industries, good roads and markets, N50,000 minimum wage, robbery, suicide  and other atrocities will reduce in the country And  then peace shall reign Again.

Fighting corruption without recommendations won't make a headway, since the federal government has been fighting corruption From  2015 Till date, there's is no positive results as the rate of corruption among government officials still persists.

Boko Haram was reported to have been defeated technically but the Numbers of lives of gallant troops Lost always top headlines.

Does these mean the government are deceiving the people they Are Governing?

Before things goes beyond control there should be adequate recommendations to curb these menace.

Nigerians should Stop Seeking for divine fortune because of the situation Of the country or the challenges they are facing in their lives rather they should seek for God intervention and not miracle centres. A mansion isn't build in a day most things takes time so don't rush, don't be to quick to make it in life. Have faith, believe in yourself, work hard and pray for Nigeria, avoid jungle justice. Don't wait for what Nigeria will do for you start thinking about what you can do for Nigeria.

A man is the architect of his own fortune.
