Police Barricade Gani Fawehinmi Park Venue Of Amotekun Rally In Lagos
Police on Tuesday barricaded Gani Fawehinmi Park in Lagos which was scheduled to host a rally in support of Operation Amotekun, a security outfit launched by South-West governors.
Recalled that Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, had declared the outfit illegal.
But South-West governors insist that the outfit, set up to assist the police in curbing crime in the region, would remain.
