Maryam Sanda's Excution, a judicial development: Aisha Bello

Aisha Bello, a student from department of Sharia law, faculty of law Yobe State University Damaturu condemned people sympathising with the just convicted Maryam sanda who stabbed her husband to death some years ago.

This follow after Sanda broke in tears and crying for help immediately when the judge sentenced her to hanging on 27th of January 2019 by the Federal high Court Abuja  Nigeria. 


In an interview with Aisha Bello, she said every good citizen must commend the Federal high Court and the rule of law, and that Sanda wasn't convicted for a crime she didn't commit, but the one she did. 

 

"This woman maliciously stabbed her husband to death, she was found guilty by a competent court of law."


While replying to question on why does she considers feelings of citizens across the country, Bello says:
" Why are you people feeling sorry for her? She wasn't the victim, her husband Bilyaminu was. She was a culprit who just got  sentenced for her heinous crime. Justice was meted out for Bilyaminu's family...."
She further cite a verse from the Quran that cautious sympathising to court rules.
