NANS President hopeful Asefon Reaffirms Commitment to Students’ Welfare in New Year Message

National Association of Nigerian students, NANS president hopeful, Comrade Sunday Asefon, has reiterated the Symbol of New NANS’s commitment to redefining student unionism with a view to creating stronger platform for Nigerian students to realize their potentials.

The Leading Presidential candidate stated this as part of his New Year Message to Nigerian Students at home and diaspora while speaking with newsman in the capital city of his country home, Ado Ekiti.

He also highlighted the various achievements of the association during the year under the leadership of Comrade Bamidele and revealed some of the activities that will take priority in the Association for the New Year if elected into the office of NANS president to continue the good work.

"Distinguished colleagues, I bring you good tidings and the warmest compliments of the season! As we mark the beginning of the year 2020.

Nelson Mandela reminded us that 'A person is a person through other people'.

"This fundamental awareness of the importance of our love for - and dependence on - each other should inform all our plans and actions, and should give us the wisdom to generate new models and new policies in 2020 that will enable us strengthen our Unity as a Union."

My wish is that 2020 will bring Nigerian students a bounty of opportunities for flourishing and renewal in combination with unity to achieve a common goal desired by all leaders, stakeholders, SUG Presidents and general students... Happy new year 2020!
