The Johnbosco Onunkwo Edition: A Quintessential Phenomenon

Beginning from the birth of this great nation, some Nigerians have chosen to be exceptional, bearing her great creed. They have planted their names in the hall of fame, advancing the nation forward; and leaving an undeniable impact in the lives of Nigerians and the world at large.

Making the list today, is an Engineer and a selfless Patriot of this Great Nation; the very person of Chief Engr. Johnbosco Onunkwo.

As regards to this post, we will be reviewing the honesty, transparency, love and integrity displayed by Engr. Onunkwo.

Engr. Johnbosco Onunkwo is a protege Western philanthropist and an oil mogul with investments in Nigeria; unlike other financial stakeholders who transport their holdings and investments to the diaspora to keep developing the developed economy.

Engr. Johnbosco Onunkwo is a different breed and an exemplary statesman, who has immensely contributed to the growth, progress, development and Economic stability of Ndi Anambra and the Nigerian people at large.

He is the founder and President of Johnbosco Onunkwo Foundation, an NGO committed in alleviating poverty, upgrading the standard of living of Nigerians and stabilizing the SMSEs; to assist beginning entrepreneurs which will thereby stabilize the economy, causing many to contribute to National Growth and productivity.

Over the years, his foundation has been in the business of helping the less privileged ones without seeking for any reward or recognition of any sort in return.

His most recent stride is the gifting of N2.5m to the victims of the Onitsha Inferno at Ochanja market a fourth night ago.

But for the purpose of this article, we will major our attention on the Multi million Naira Ultra-modern bus station been promised by this same man to the students and 'publics' of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

During the flag off construction of the Ultra-Modern bus station, when Engr. Onunkwo stated his commitment towards the project and a zero stunt for attention but a genuine humanitarian service to the society and the University, we all thought it was a joke and as usual one of those magic words by our ever framing statesmen. But to the surprise of everyone, the Chief Onunkwo backed his words with intense action and the project is experiencing speedy progress as at the time of filing this report.

Engr. Onunkwo has earlier in mid-year 2019 endowed the varsity with a whooping N5m fund for research during the World Environmental Day.

He promised the Construction of the Ultra modern bus stand in August, flagged off the construction in September and with the speed of the project, it might be commissioned in November.

Well done Chief Engr. Johnbosco Onunkwo, oil mogul cum philanthropist, you may not know the latitude of what you have done for everyone in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, but we are so greatful.

This bus stand has been a nightmare at day time for the students of the varsity, but God has used you to lighten the night and bring joy to our faces.

You have chosen to be exceptional, promise keeper and very intentional about all your kind gestures and humanitarian activities towards mankind, God in his infinite wisdom will continue to reward you, strengthen you and equip you for greater tasks.

Nigerian politicians come and learn.

Nigerian rich men come and see; any wealth that cannot rub off on your neighborhood, constituency, State, etc, is not useful.

Engr. Johnbosco Onunkwo you are indeed a Quintessential Phenomenon, your edition is the latest edition and your version as a Nigerian should be emulated.

Next time when you want to describe a great leader, you can say: "that man is an Onunkwolite", or "when will our leaders become Johnboscofied?"
