Kogi West Senatorial Election clashes with Governorship poll- INEC Reacts

The Kogi West Senatorial District Rerun election between Senator Dino Melaye and Senator Smart Adeyemi, would now hold same day with the State Governorship election.

A statement released today by the Independent National Electoral Commission, says the election between Senator Melaye of the PDP and Senator Smart comes up on 16th November, 2019.

VAM Recall the Appeal Court had nullified the election won by Sen. Melaye, thus ordering for a run following what it described as irregularities.

The Kogi state governorship election with Governor Yahaya Bello, incumbent governor has earlier been scheduled for November 16.
