CORRUPTION IN ADO POLY ; NAPS Set For Mass Protest To EFCC, ICPC and Shutdown Federal polytechnic Ado Ekiti

Resulting from the death of a student of Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti on 7th October 2017,  reason been that  non availability of modern medical facilities at the School clinic and poor management of the Students Health Management Organisation scheme also known as NHIS, where student were diagnosed with high malaria and all they could give out is paracetamol, before the following morning the condition became deteriorated that they had to rush him to the State Hospital but unfortunately the student died in the process, VAM News Reports.

The aggrieved students went on rampage and burnt down the medical centre and as well destroy some other properties, after much intervention by NAPS and NANS, the school management demanded for damages with the excuse that it is dangerous to run an institution without having a standby medical centre, after much deliberation, it was agreed that students would have to pay #20,000 each before they would be allowed to write exams.

After forcefully collecting the money from students, it is pitiable to know that no reasonable medical centre has been erected since then till date. We wonder if it will take management 40years to erect a school clinic, what type of legacy are they laying. The money has been collected since 2017 and up till now their is standard school clinic.
