2020 Governorship race: Group announces support for Egunjobi, APC aspirant in Ondo

Social political group, Ondo State Youth for Good Governance (OSYGG) has endorsed one of its illustrious sons, Adeyinka Egunjobi for the forthcoming Ondo governorship election.

In a statement issued by its president, Comrade Ola Pius, president of OSYGG, in a press release made available to the VAM News on Thursday, Egunjobi, the Ondo State House of Assembly aspirant in the last election was singled out as a ‘right candidate’ for Ondo governorship.

Egunjobi, fondly called ‘Sileto,’ by his admirers, and who is the erstwhile aspirant of Akoko North East Federal constituency under the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) was described as ‘a man of impeccable character, a team player, a true son of soil, a sincere party man with a Midas touch and a good choice for our dear state”.

OYSGG opined that what the state needs is an energetic and vibrant young man to become our governor in Ondo state.

“Sileto is a leader who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.

He is fully prepared and committed to inspired the people of Ondo state to dream more, learn more, do more, and achieve more.”

He is a graduate of Microbiology from Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile Ife, Osun State has been a member of the APC from 1999 when it was AD, and through the metamorphosis into Action Congress (AC) ACN and to APC.

“By nature, Sileto is a progressive minded fellow, a student of Obafemi Awolowo political thought that sees the people as the centre of your government.

In his own little way he has been supporting the youths of his constituency and if he is given the opportunity to for bigger political role, he has what it takes to take Ondo to the top,” the socio-political group added.

The group further described, Egunjobi from Akoko North east constituency and also called 'Sileto' by his admirers, as a man of impeccable character, and a sincere party man with a midas touch and a good choice for our dear state.
