Police disagreed with allegations of drunk policeman stabs nine persons at night club in Ondo
The Public relations officer of Police in Ondo state said it was rumor spreading by the Newspaper that the police officers stabbed only three people and not nine people has reported by the public and national dailies, VAM confirmed.
PolicemenHe said the allegedly drunk policeman, identified as Taiwo Orisadare, stabbed only three people at a friend birthday party in Akure, Ondo state on friday and not a nightclub.
In his statement, the policeman paid all the hospital bills of the three victims.
The policeman, attached to the Area Commander’s office, Akure, but not on duty that day, he wasn't putting on uniform.
It was gathered that trouble started when the policeman began pestering and harassing one of the victims at the club who requested a drinks from him.
The eyewitness said, “It was clear that Sergeant Orisadare was drunk and he was already becoming uncontrollable at the club.
