FIVE TYPES OF STUDENT YOU MUST MUST AVOID ON CAMPUS

Everyone deserves the best in life so in this article I will point the five major categories of students you should never date or keep as a friend while on campus.

1. THE UNBELIEVERS 

These category are those students who neither belong to any religion, they only claim Islam or Christianity by mouth. This set of students don't go to church nor mosque rather they ridicule  those doing so, tagging them with different names such  as SU or too religious. 

As a student your spiritual life is very important and plays a vital role to your academics; therefore, if you notice you notice any of this sign in any of your friends or partner you need to walk away immediately from such kind of friends, who have nothing to contribute to your life.  Any friend or partner that doesn't motivates or inspire you spiritually doesn't worth keeping, they can ruin your spiritual life.

2. THE GOLD DIGGERS

The gold diggers are those friends that always task you all the time but will never risk a dime for you. This type of students will want you to do everything for them: they will need your support to achieve all their goals on campus but will never render any help for you. they will want you to support them while contesting for SUG elections or take them on tutorials but whenever you need their help, they will be lost into the blue moon and space. 

They are like a butterfly that sucks the nectar of a flower once it's finished they flee. Be mindful of whom you choose as your friend or partner, if you notice this category of students, distance yourself from them as soon as possible. Don't keep Friends with gold diggers student not to talk of dating or being in a relationship with them because they are like parasite(Benefiting from the host but causing destruction). This category of students have nothing to offer you, hence maybe a problem to your academic pursuit.

3. THE LAZY STUDENTS

Show me your friend and I will tell you whom you are, sometimes our lives can be justified by the type of friends we keep. If the type of student you choose as your friend, partner, school father, school mother or mentor is the type of person that love scoring good grades but doesn't love studying, you need to distance yourself from this category of students otherwise it may weaken your academic performance. The lazy students are those who always copy assignments, copy practicals, copy everything and everywhere  both in the  exam hall. The lazy students don't like attending lectures regularly they prefer clubbing to night classes. If you decide to still keep a relationship or friendship with a lazy student the regret maybe on your CGPA result. imagine you wake up in the night to read but the person you choose as your friend still snoring ? Your partner that supposed to be a role model to you is the one caught in an act of examination malpractices. Distance yourself from lazy students that believe in miracles to hardwork. keeping a relationship or friendship with such, will kill your potential to study hard you don't need them. keep a relationship with Someone who motivates you to study after all your primary assignment in school is to study so don't be blinded.

3. THE I TOO KNOW STUDENTS 

This category of students can be found in any higher institution in Nigeria. they always prove to know everything, they will always like to correct you and even teach you what you don't know but, they don't like taking to corrections. This category of students are the type you shouldn't be with throughout your stay on campus. 

4. THE SIGNBOARD FRIEND/PARTNER

This category is similar to the number (3) above. This category of students knows the right thing but wouldn't do it, they are the ones that will tell you to take your spiritual life serious, they maybe the one to call you at night to start reading, they will teach you what to do and what you should not  but, what they are teaching you doesn't reflect in their own lifestyle. You can't be with a partner that advises you to stay away from smoking/alcohol whereas he/she drinks and smoke also. This category of students  are not different from a signboard pointing direction to others whereas their own life remain stagnant. This category of students are the type you must never date or keep as a friend because they are chronic pretenders.

5. THE ADDICT STUDENTS 

These category of students are in every higher institution and keeping one as a partner or friend will not only affect your academic life but also your career and spiritual life. A student shouldn't be addicted to social media unless he/she is making money from it and even if such student is making money from it there should be time for everything like I wrote in my previous article "A MINUTE OF MY TIME MUST NOT BE WASTED".  It is very wrong to keep a drug addict as a partner or friend by doing so you are risking your life as Someone who is intoxicated by alcohol can hurt you physically and emotionally. So to be on a safer side, and to avoid stories that touches, stay away from friends who are addicted they have nothing good to contribute to your life.
