How to Add Family and Friends on Airtel Network

This feature is available for all prepaid customers on Airtel, allowing them to call select phone numbers they have added to their FaF list at super-cool rates.

How It Works

Airtel offers you the chance to add up to 5 phone numbers to your Family and Friends list, and you won’t incur any charges in doing so. 

But if you want to add more phone numbers, in addition to the 5 already in your FaF list, you will be required to pay a service fee of ₦50 per phone number added. 

VAM recommend that you add phone numbers that you frequently call to your Family and Friends list. Some people chose to add the phone numbers of their partner, their clients, customers, or their family relations since these are the individuals they call often call.

There is no need to migrate to any plan to enjoy this offer. 

All you need to do is to add the necessary Airtel phone numbers to your Family and Friends list.

Airtel Family and Friends Code

Dial *311*2*number#, which serves as the registration code to add your desired phone number to Airtel FaF list. For instance, if 08123569888 is the Airtel phone number you want to enjoy call discount on, to add it to the list, dial *311*2*08121553229#. 

Airtel FaF Code for Checking Phone Numbers on Your List

Dial *311*4# if you want to check the Airtel phone numbers that are currently in your Family and Friends List.

You Can Delete or Remove Phone Numbers from Your List by simply dialling *311*3*number#

Airtel Family and Friends Call Rates

The call rate that this package brings varies based on the time of the day. 

Any call you place between 6AM to 10PM to your FaF phone numbers will go for 25 kobo per second, whereas the call rate is 21 kobo per second from 10 PM to 6 AM. 

But if you’re making your call with the SmartConnect bonus, the call rate is pegged at 40 kobo per sec. (which is ₦24 per minute) regardless of the time you are making the call.
