NYSC state coordinator unveils activities lined up to mark 46th anniversary programmes to staff
The NYSC Adamawa State Coordinator Mallam Abubakar Mohammed has unveiled activities lined up to commemorate the 46th anniversary of the NYSC Scheme.
Briefing heads of branches/units, supervisors of CDS groups and zonal inspectors in his office at the federal secretariat complex, Jimeta on Friday, the State Coordinator said that the celebration will begin with a church service on Sunday, 19th May 2019, as contained in a circular signed by the Director, Planning, Research and Statistics, Mr Victoria Bose Okakwu, on behalf of the Director-General, Brig. Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim.
Mallam Mohammed stated that other activities earmarked for the celebration at the state level are: Jumat prayer, Health Initiative for Rural Dwellers, inter-school debate and quiz competition, environmental sanitation, and a visit to motherless babies home or IDP camp.
He went ahead and appointed the Assistant Director, Corps Inspection and Monitoring branch, Mr Ukoh Joseph and his counterpart of the Finance and Accounts branch, Mr Shehu Moriki to co-chair a high-powered committee set up to fine-tune how the anniversary will be commemorated in the state.
