The National Association of Nigerian students (NANS) zone C lauds president Muhammadu Buhari over the assent of thirty thousand minimum wage.

In a statement issued by the Zonal Public Relations Officer, Comr. Adebayo Kayode yesterday in Ilorin to VAM News, he said although the increment has long overdue but the approval of the increment by the president deserves some encomium.

Nigerians will forever remember him for this, it portrays Mr president as a man who belief that the dignity of labour should be recompense with equitable remuneration.

He said, the leadership of 8th National Assembly has done a brilliant legislation by ensuring the promptness of this bill without politicizing it, there is no doubt act of this nature will make our democracy to be more robotic and make Nigeria a desiring place for commoners.

In the same vein, Comr. Adebayo Kayode commended the commitment and patriotic gesture of the civil servants for their selfless service despite the unfriendly economic situation in Nigeria, he said '

They upheld and adhere to the act that established civil service, Nigerians will never forget your perseverance during the time of trial in this country'.

However, it is tectonic to state that there is need for the federal government to consider and adopt some economy policies to stabilize the dangling economic situation of this country. One of the economy policy that we need to consider its applicabilities to Nigeria economy is 'price control'.

It saddens one's heart whenever one recall that we live in a country where there is no fixed prices of commodities both local and foreign brands. This deserves attention as a matter of immediate alacrity, we can't Continue to live like this, because with the implementation of minimum wage, it may tantamount to hyperinflation due to lack of price control  of goods and services.

I implore all and sundry to invest more in Nigeria by patronizing our local product and acquisition of properties here instead of going abroad.

Once this is done, there is going to be economic prosperity in our country.
