Leadership of NAKSS ensure the continuation of bursary disbursement in University of Ilorin

The leadership of the National Association of Kwara State Student under the leadership of Comr. Ibrahim Abdullahi Paranti is committed to ensuring the continuation of the bursary disbursement exercise at the University of Ilorin.

The leadership will be meeting with the scholarship board on Monday to resolve the issue which has been surrounding the stoppage of the disbursement process - majorly the inability of the stepped down president to perform any student related task again, as a single individual cannot continue to hold the entire student populace in ransom because of personal interest.

We will also be meeting with the Special Adviser Labour and student matter and security agencies in the state.

We urge all student to remain calm and expect the outcome of the meeting on the wayforward for the continuation of the disbursement exercise.

However, it is worthy to note that we are not ready to exchange any media war with Musa Mohammad Mancha - which is what he wants in this critical period so as to distabilize the association - but appeal to submit all union properties including a bus at Abuja - which accordingly to information has been sold out of everyone knowledge.

We are also committed to ensuring the forthcoming election holds as stipulated devoid of any form of malpractices.
