OGUN 2019: LETTER TO SENATOR IBIKUNLE O. AMOSUN
Your Excellency,
Governor Ibikunle Amosun,
You have gone too far and as a Muslim and an Owu man my heart bleeds seriously for you.
Those sycophants that surrounded you will run away very soon immediately your anointed candidate fail, where is GEJ and Saraki's praise singers?
How would you explain before Almighty Allah as a Muslim you claim to be that you have made so much money from Ogun State today but you refused:
To complete Lafenwa/Ayetoro road even though your brothers are living around this area.
To rehabilitate Ata-Agbara and Lusada-Igbesa roads despite its industrial and IGR value to Ogun State.
To rehabilitate the Sago-Idiroko road which hosts the highest number of vehicles in Ogun State and fetches you billions.
To rehabilitate Itele-Ayobo-Lafenwa-Ota Roads despite the thousands of votes you get from there and Lagos Proximity advantage.
To complete a single project in;
a. Ipokia LG
b. Odeda LG
c. Imeko-Afon LG
d. Ogun Waterside LG
e. Ikenne LG
f. Ifo LG
g. Yewa South LG
h. Yewa North LG
i. Ado-Odo
j. Remo North LG
k. Sagamu LG
l. Ijebu Northeast LG for good eight years.
That you refused to provide water for the people of Abeokuta and Ogun State at large despite your heavy budgets on water resources.
That you refused to pay Gratuities to Retired Local Government Civil Servants and Teachers for the past 7 years despite that these people have thousands of dependants and families
That you refused to pay compensation to those whose houses are demolished for road expansion and the roads are abandoned now.
That you refused to complete the abandoned 26 model schools put at N1.4billion per one!
That you refused to pay attention to all our rural roads which account for more than 76% of Ogun road networks.
That you refused to offset backlog of pensions and civil servants deductions running into trillions of Naira.
That you refused to pay subventions to our tertiary institutions across the State which made the school run like private schools and quadrupled their school fees with lecturers running away to other States. Can you pray your children receive the kinds of education you give Ogun State students today when you keep them in schools abroad?
That you refused to recruit teachers since over 8,000 teachers retired from service in the last 7 years. There are many schools today in Ogun State with 4 teachers to over 300 pupils, is this what the Quran taught you about justice, fairness and equity?
Will you be happy if your children attend such schools?
What becomes the future of those children who have lost 80% of their learning opportunities?
That you refused to pay the bursary of our students for over 7 years.
That you refused to allow Local Government allocations reach them for 8 years which make our rural communities extremely poor swimming in hopelessness.
Your Excellency sir, if you have pursued developmental agenda vigorously the way you're pursuing this successor agenda perhaps you wouldn't need any serious wahala in who succeeds you.
I want to beg you in the name of Almighty Allah to use the remaining period of your administration to please right the wrongs and correct some mistakes committed against humanity and Almighty Allah.
Some people are now so much afraid of putting an Owu man forward in any serious position again just because of your wickedness.
Please save the name, save the Heritage.
Owu Kingdom, we are WARRIORS no doubt, but we are not wicked people._
