FG EXTENDS REGISTRATION FOR 50% REDUCTION OF BUSINESS NAMES

In an effort to deepen the benefits of its reform initiatives, the Corporate Affairs Commission has extended the reduction of  cost of Registration of Business Names from N10,000 to N5,000 after the Name Reservation of N500, with effect from the 31st December, 2018 to 31st March, 2019.

The Business Incentive Strategy is aimed at creating a window for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to formalize their businesses, which will enable them own corporate account with Banks, have access to Loans, grants and other government interventions.

Requirements:
1. Two proposed names of business
2. Full name of Business owner
3. Phone number
Email
4. Nature of business (Please stare the nature of business to be general or specific? Being general is better so that one can incorporate other services into it in the future I.e General Contracts and Merchandise)
5. Business Address
6. Date of birth
7. City
8. LGA
9. Means of Identity Card - either international passport or voters card or National identity card of the business owner.
10. Preferred State/Cac Office location you'll like to go and collect your CAC certificate from.

Members of the public are enjoined to take advantage of this window, to register their Business Names.
