Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu postponed local government election

Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has postponed the state local government election earlier scheduled to hold in December, indefinitely.

The Governor, in a meeting with leaders and members of the APC was said to have postponed the election till after the 2019 general elections.

Akeredolu also declared to members and leaders of his APC in Ondo state that the party does not have candidates in the coming 2019 elections.

It would be recalled that the governor was schemed out by the national leadership of the party in the submission of names, where almost all his preferred candidates were dropped.
