Enugu TUC Chairman Confirms Payment Of July Salaries Without FAAC Allocations

Chairman of Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC), Enugu State Council, Comrade Igbokwe Chukwuma Igbokwe confirms Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's payment of July salaries of state's Civil/Public Servants today (July 23rd, 2018) without receipt of Federal Allocations for June and July, 2018.

Commends Gov. Ugwuanyi "for setting a record", saying:
"This action of His Excellency, which is happening for the first time since the creation of Enugu State is an undeniable proof that he is not just workers-friendly but truly committed to workers' welfare".
